Movie Description: 
The story of “Tian’anmen” revolves around actual events in the months following the end of the Liberation War in 1949. At that time, the Gate of Heavenly Peace at the entrance of the Forbidden City in Beijing required an extensive facelift. The film follows a group of army engineers and designers who were instrumental in preparing the centuries-old tower structure for the grand ceremony on October the first. A prominent feature of the movie is its use of advanced digital imagery. The film “Tian An Men” is the last episode of Ye Da Ying’s red trilogy, following “Red Cherry” ( 1995 ) and “A Time to Remember”. ( aka Hong se lian ren 1998 ). “Red Cherry” stars Xu Xiaoli and Guo Keyu reunite again in “Tian An Men”.
